Sai Baba, a guiding light

“Sai Baba, a guiding light to devotees and the golden mantra!”

“Om Sai! Shri Sai! Jai Jai Sai!” – This mantra has helped me in many ways in life.. My mother-in-law used to tell me that, chant this “Om Sai! Shri Sai! Jai Jai Sai!” and everything will turn out alright. In our family, we always chant this mantra. Here is a little miracle through which Baba showed me that He is always there to help.

For career advancement, I had to take up a project which entailed lot of travelling and my client place was in Virgina, two hours away from our house in PA. Initially, when I joined this new project, I was staying in a hotel for the initial few days, hoping to find some good option for shared accommodation.

I was doing some research online to find available rental units near my work place. When I tried calling many who had advertised with rental spaces, many turned me down saying it was not available anymore. Few of the options, I went and saw the places and they were too shabby and cannot even be considered an option. I was sitting in the parking lot of a food store and called my wife to tell her of my lack of luck with finding a rental space. She pacified me and suggested that she will extend the hotel for few more days and that I could resume to search for a better place, over the following weekend.

I kept the phone down and was praying to Baba, that I need a rental space, close to my work place under $600 and I want it today. I said “Om Sai! Shri Sai! Jai Jai Sai!” and suddenly felt the intuition to call one of the numbers I had already called. The owner to my surprise Said, the one space he advertised was not available anymore, but there is a rental spot in a single family home and asked me to come and look at it. I went and checked out the option, the place was perfect location, close to my work place and I will get a complete independent bedroom suite to myself. When I asked how much the rent was, the owner told me it was $599. Just like what I asked to Baba. I went up to the room.

And there, in one corner of the room, I saw a vintage wooden cabinet, with a Baba’s photo affixed on it!! And that Baba photo had the mantra “Om Sai! Shri Sai! Jai Jai Sai!” printed on it… I stood there speechless..

It was Baba who brought me to the exact option that I asked him for.. I am forever indebted and am blessed to be devoted to Him…
