Shirdi Sai Mandir(Harrisburg SaiSevaSamithi) is happy to invite all to perform the auspicious Varalaxmi vratham on the occasion of Varamahalaxmi pooja on August 20th at 10am.
Varalakshmi vratam is an important Hindu festival celebrated in the honour of Goddess Lakshmi. Varalakshmi vratam is primarily observed by married women to receive blessings from Varalakshmi, a manifestation of Goddess Maha Lakshmi. Varalakshmi is the bestower of ‘Var’ or ‘Varam’ meaning boons.
It is a strong belief that worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on this auspicious day is equivalent to offering prayers to Ashtalakshmi.
