Om Sai Ram,
With the Divine blessings of Baba we are happy to invite you all for Maha Shivaratri celebrations on the actual day of Shivaratri February 28th. Maha Shivaratri marks a remembrance of Lord Shiva and the importance of life. It is observed by remembering Shiva and chanting prayers, fasting, performing Rudrabhishekam, doing jaagaran/jaagaranam (staying awake all night).
Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam is a special Abhishekam offered 11 times to Lord Shiva who is supposed to have 11 forms of Rudra. All eleven Rudras are worshipped in this pooja. Initially, Sthapana, Aavahana and Mahanyasam is performed. Abhishekam is performed to the eleven Rudras with different dravyams, fruits, etc., while chanting the Rudram.
On this auspicious occasion devotees can join us and participate in the rituals.
Priest Sri Keshava Shastri garu will guide and provide an opportunity to all devotees to perform Shiva abhishekam.
